Michigan Lands 2026 OT Tommy Fraumann in Flip From Miami (OH)

A recent visit to Michigan Stadium was cited as the tipping point for the Ann Arbor–raised legacy prospect.

Overview

Fraumann, a three-star offensive tackle from Wilmette (Ill.) Loyola Academy, had been committed to Miami (Ohio) since April before changing course on Friday.
He said the Washington game visit and its atmosphere were pivotal to his decision, calling the environment "absolutely amazing" in comments to Rivals.
The 247Sports Composite ranks him No. 1,252 nationally and No. 106 at offensive tackle in the 2026 class.
He becomes Michigan’s fourth offensive line pledge in the cycle, with the Wolverines’ class holding the No. 10 spot in the composite rankings.
Reports list him at about 250 pounds and between 6-foot-7 and 6-foot-8, and he has deep family ties to Michigan through a father who played linebacker and a mother who was a UM athlete and later a university administrator.
