Michigan Deputy Climbs into Moving Truck to Save Driver in Medical Emergency

Deputy Nicole Miron's quick thinking prevented a potential tragedy on a busy Michigan highway.

Macomb County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a report of a silver GMC Sierra driving erratically in Mount Clemens on Sept. 12.
Deputy Nicole Miron climbed from her moving patrol vehicle into the truck to stop the unresponsive 63-year-old driver.
Body camera footage showed Miron instructing the driver and successfully bringing the vehicle to a halt.
The driver, who appeared dazed and suffered a medical emergency, was transported to a hospital for further care.
Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham praised Miron for her bravery and quick actions, which averted a potential disaster.
