Harbaugh Willing to Take Pay Cut to Support College Athletes' Financial Compensation

Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh has expressed his willingness to take a pay cut if it means college athletes could be paid.
Harbaugh, who earns a base salary of $7.63 million with an additional $3 million in bonuses possible, has been a longtime advocate for paying players.
He was reminded of the sacrifices athletes make when offensive lineman Zak Zinter broke his leg during a game.
Harbaugh has called on other coaches to use their platforms to advocate for student-athletes to share in the increasing revenue from college athletics.
Despite athletes being able to make money from their name, image, and likeness, they are not paid directly by schools.
