Michael Schwartz and Tyler Nilson to Helm 'Riders of Justice' Remake for Lionsgate

The 'Peanut Butter Falcon' directors will adapt the Danish action comedy with producers from 21 Laps Entertainment.

The original 'Riders of Justice,' starring Mads Mikkelsen, was a critical and fan favorite for its unique tone and offbeat action.
Schwartz and Nilson's previous film, 'The Peanut Butter Falcon,' was the highest-grossing indie of 2019 and won multiple awards.
Shawn Levy, Dan Levine, and Dan Cohen will produce the remake, with original producers Sisse Graum Jørgensen and Anders Kjaeurhauge as executive producers.
Lionsgate and 21 Laps are also collaborating on the upcoming 'Never Let Go,' starring Halle Berry, set for release on September 27, 2024.
James Myers will oversee the project for Lionsgate, with Schwartz and Nilson represented by WME and Range Media Partners.
