• Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a 911 call and pronounced Madsen dead at 8:25 a.m. local time after finding him unresponsive in his Malibu home.
• Deputies reported no signs of foul play; Liz Rodriguez, his publicist at EMR Media Entertainment, confirmed a preliminary diagnosis of cardiac arrest.
