• At the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival running July 4–12, Michael Douglas will unveil a newly restored print of the 1975 classic to mark its 50th anniversary.
• The special gala screening on July 4 is programmed in the festival’s Out of the Past section, which highlights landmark films from cinema history.
• Producer Paul Zaentz will join Douglas at the screening alongside members of director Miloš Forman’s family.
• One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest remains one of only two films to sweep the five major Academy Awards—Best Picture, Director, Actor, Actress, and Screenplay.
