Michael B. Jordan to Direct and Star in 'Thomas Crown Affair' Remake

The Amazon MGM Studios film will be the third iteration of the classic heist movie, following versions from 1968 and 1999.

Michael B. Jordan will direct and star in the new 'Thomas Crown Affair' remake, marking his second directorial effort after 'Creed III'.
The film will be produced by Jordan's Outlier Society along with Elizabeth Raposo, Patrick McCormick, and Marc Toberoff.
Drew Pearce has written the script for the remake, with previous drafts by Wes Tooke and Justin Britt-Gibson.
Amazon MGM plans to release the film exclusively in theaters worldwide.
The original 1968 film starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, followed by a 1999 remake featuring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo.
