- At age 13 in the 1980s a closeted Michael Ausiello penned 517 episodes of his original soap opera Beverly Hills.
- Following sold-out readings at LA’s Dynasty Typewriter, the show makes its New York debut September 8 at the Newman Mills Theater at the Robert W. Wilson MCC Theater Space.
- The starry ensemble includes Bowen Yang, Ana Gasteyer, Jim Parsons, Rachel Dratch, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Busy Philipps, Mitch Silpa and Michael Urie.
- Michael Ausiello co-produces the benefit with Jay Marcus and directs from his preserved handwritten scripts with casting by Henry Russell Bergstein.
- All proceeds will support the Ali Forney Center’s shelter, healthcare and support services for homeless and at-risk LGBTQ+ youth.
