Miami Man Arrested in 2016 Disappearance of Ex and Daughter

Gustavo Castaño Restrepo faces charges of kidnapping resulting in death, eight years after the pair vanished.

Restrepo was initially a person of interest but was not charged until now despite suspicions of foul play.
Authorities allege Restrepo used various means, including a motor vehicle and the internet, to commit the alleged kidnapping.
Restrepo suffered a self-inflicted stab wound and lost an eye during a police confrontation shortly after their disappearance.
