Miami Dolphins Hire Former Texans OC Bobby Slowik as Senior Passing Game Coordinator

Slowik reunites with Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel and joins his brother Ryan on the coaching staff.

The Miami Dolphins have hired Bobby Slowik, former Houston Texans offensive coordinator, as their senior passing game coordinator.
Slowik previously worked with Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel during their time with the San Francisco 49ers from 2017 to 2021.
In 2023, Slowik led a strong Texans offense that helped quarterback C.J. Stroud win Offensive Rookie of the Year, but the unit declined in 2024, leading to his dismissal in January.
This marks the first time Bobby Slowik will coach alongside his brother Ryan, who serves as the Dolphins' defensive backs coach and defensive passing game specialist.
Despite Slowik's hiring, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel is expected to continue calling offensive plays, with no changes reported to the role of quarterbacks coach Darrell Bevell.
