- The MIAA published the boys’ and girls’ state tournament brackets on Nov. 5, confirming which teams qualified and the full preliminary pairings across Divisions 1–5.
- Sandwich earned one of the region’s highest girls’ seeds at No. 4 in Division 4, and eight Cape and Islands programs qualified across Divisions 3–5.
- Six Gardner-area programs made the fields with specific first opponents listed in the brackets, and Monty Tech, Oakmont and Quabbin figure in multiple local matchups.
