The incident took place outside the Miami Beach Convention Center where Khalifa was waiting for a valet. The woman, who was waiting for an UberPool, approached Khalifa several times repeating the phrase 'Am Yisrael Chai', a Hebrew term expressing solidarity among Jewish people.
Khalifa responded to the woman by insulting her and making derogatory comments about her breath smelling like 'knock-off falafel'. The video of the incident has gone viral, sparking a divided response on social media.
Khalifa has previously faced backlash for her support of Hamas during the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel, which resulted in the death of 1,200 Israelis and over 23,000 Palestinians according to respective official reports.
Following her comments supporting Hamas, Khalifa was terminated by Playboy, who cited her 'disgusting and reprehensible comments celebrating Hamas' attacks on Israel and the murder of innocent men, women and children'.
