Overview

  • Mia Carragher, daughter of ex-footballer Jamie Carragher, will make her professional theatre debut as Katniss Everdeen in the first live stage adaptation of The Hunger Games.
  • The production is adapted by Olivier Award–winner Conor McPherson and directed by Matthew Dunster.
  • Shows will run from October 20, 2025, to February 15, 2026, at the purpose-built 1,200-seat Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre, with tickets on sale now.
  • The in-the-round staging incorporates complex wire-work and choreographed combat to bring the dystopian arena to life.
  • Carragher’s previous screen credits include the films One Night in Istanbul and Channel 4’s The Gathering, and she is set to appear in the upcoming Playground Entertainment series Maigret.
