Overview
- MHADA scheduled the Mumbai Board lottery for Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 12:00 PM in Bandra with a live online telecast and immediate publication of results on its website.
- The housing authority received 97,613 applications and recorded 69,526 earnest money deposits by the end of the May deadlines, creating extreme oversubscription for 2,640 units.
- The scheme bundles 145 EWS, 858 LIG, 798 MIG and 839 HIG flats across neighbourhoods such as Vikhroli, Goregaon, Borivali, Chembur, Bandra, Powai and Dadar.
- About 1,762 of the 2,640 apartments, roughly two thirds, were under construction at the application stage, which means many drawn winners will face delayed possession compared with completed units.
- MHADA cut prices by 7.5% on 1,221 under-construction Kannamwar Nagar flats and listed unit prices from about ₹29–32 lakh for the cheapest EWS homes to a top HIG unit at ₹6.82 crore, affecting demand and applicant choices.
