Overview

• The sanctioned package covers 18 police station buildings, seven police posts, one women’s hostel and 180 staff quarters.
• All projects will be executed by the Central Public Works Department under Ministry of Home Affairs oversight.
• Officials say the facilities are designed to be modern, well equipped and gender sensitive to improve working and living conditions for personnel.
• The approval is positioned as a concrete step within Special Campaign 5.0, which ran from November 2024 to August 2025.
• The campaign reported 2,405 Swachhata drives, 79,774 square feet of space freed and disposal of 493 MP references, 104 state references, 30 PMO communications, 40,880 public grievances and 1,864 appeals, with CAPFs and CPOs instructed to participate.
