  • Assam Police Headquarters in Guwahati issued notification DGP-GEN011/2/2024-GEN-DGP-APHQ-Assam announcing the selection under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav as part of the MHA’s annual exercise.
  • Officer-in-Charge Divyajyoti Dutta will receive the certificate from the Assam DGP on August 26 at 11 a.m. in the APHQ conference hall at Ulubari, Guwahati.
  • The honor cites effective law-and-order management, community outreach, crime prevention, cleanliness, discipline and citizen-centric service delivery.
  • Established in 1935 during the British era, the station has earned public trust through proactive policing under Dutta with support from five sub-inspectors.
