Overview

• MGM+ greenlit the origin-series entry as the fourth show in the Bosch franchise, extending the universe beyond Prime Video’s titles.
• Cameron Monaghan will portray a 26-year-old Harry Bosch, with Omari Hardwick as training officer Eli Bridges, an original character created for the show.
• The story is set in 1991 Los Angeles, following a rookie Bosch as he encounters racial tension, gang violence, a strained LAPD, a high-profile heist, and entrenched corruption.
• Tom Bernardo and Brian Anthony co-created the series, with Bernardo as showrunner; executive producers include Michael Connelly, Henrik Bastin, Jamie Boscardin Martin, and Jasmine Russ, with Fabel Entertainment producing and Theresa Snider as co-executive producer for Hieronymus Pictures.
• The California Film Commission awarded the project an $11.6 million credit on $33.2 million qualified spending, and the series will stream on MGM+ in the U.S., UK, Italy, Germany, Spain, Latin America, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
