• The series is based on the 2022 scripted podcast 'American Hostage,' in which Hamm also played the lead role.
• Shawn Ryan and Eileen Myers are co-creators and executive producers, continuing their collaboration from previous projects.
• The first season will film in Winnipeg, Canada, in fall 2025 and will be distributed internationally by Sony Pictures Television.
