Overview
- In results reported Oct. 13, authorities detailed actions from Oct. 10–12 under Operación Frontera Norte across Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí and Guanajuato.
- The largest seizure was in El Carmen, Nuevo León, where five people were detained and officers secured 115,500 liters of diesel, 147,839 liters of hydrocarbon and 14,000 liters of sulfuric acid, plus containers, storage tanks and pumps.
- In San Luis Potosí, SSPC agents intercepted a truck on the Tula–San Antonio road carrying 55,000 liters of hydrocarbon without proof of legal origin, detaining two people.
- In Jaumave, Tamaulipas, Army personnel stopped a double-trailer truck and seized 70,000 liters of gasoline transported without documentation, detaining the driver.
- In Villagrán, Guanajuato, FGR with Pemex Security searched a property and secured 30,000 liters of hydrocarbon, contributing to at least eight detentions and multiple vehicle and equipment seizures now under ministerial review.
