Overview
- The Secretariat of Culture formally inaugurated the Dirección General de Formación y Gestión Cultural on August 11–12 with Lucina Jiménez as director and a 3 million-peso operating budget.
- It signed a memorandum of understanding with IDARTES and engaged UNESCO and the Global Network of Cities and Local Governments to build an international Bank of Good Practices for cultural management.
- The ministry launched the “Cultiva México” call to gather at least 50 proven local initiatives into a national repository, accepting submissions until September 30.
