- The program announced August 8 formalizes FONART’s integrated strategy after crafts generated 156.36 billion pesos and 0.52 percent of GDP in 2023.

- Initial field activities begin mid-August in 58 municipalities across Oaxaca, Guerrero, Veracruz, Michoacán and Sonora, focusing on textiles and pottery for more than 11,000 artisans.
