La secretaria de Gobernación, Rosa Icela Rodríguez y la secretaria de Energía, Luz Elena González, encabezaron está mañana la conferencia del pueblo de este miércoles.

Overview

  • The government committed 8,177 million dollars (about 163,540 million pesos) to strengthen the transmission network for more than 50 million users between 2025 and 2030.
  • CFE will build 275 strategic transmission lines totaling about 6,735 km‑circuit and 524 substations, with stated capacities of 22,682 MVA and 12,717 MVAr.
  • Projects are distributed by region: North 92 projects (137 lines, 247 substations), Center 49 (90, 181) and South 30 (48, 96), with authorities noting some works are already completed or under construction.
  • The plan adds smart‑grid capabilities including remote controls, fiber optics, digital transformers, mobile sensors, drones, real‑time monitoring, predictive maintenance and hurricane‑impact modeling.
  • Officials emphasized that transmission and distribution remain exclusive state functions under Sener and CFE, with more than 5,000 specialized workers tasked to decongest corridors, connect isolated communities and improve disaster response.
