- The State of Mexico’s Mobility Secretariat published the new tariff in the official gazette, making it effective Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025.
- Collective services will charge 14 pesos for the first five kilometers, with an additional 0.25 peso per kilometer beyond that distance.
- In 27 southern rural municipalities using mixed service, the maximum is 11 pesos for the first ten kilometers, with the same 0.25 peso per additional kilometer.
- Children under five ride free, while older adults presenting an INAPAM card continue to pay 12 pesos.
- The 14‑peso minimum applies in the other 98 municipalities, including major hubs such as Ecatepec, Nezahualcóyotl and Toluca.
