• Authorities will model a magnitude 8.1 earthquake with an epicenter near Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán to evaluate evacuation and response protocols.
• Audible alarms will operate only in covered jurisdictions including Mexico City, State of Mexico, Morelos, Puebla, Tlaxcala, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Michoacán, Jalisco and Colima.
