Mexico Sets Oct. 7–Nov. 7 Rollout for Mujeres Bienestar Cards to August Registrants

Appointment details will be sent to each registrant by SMS or phone, with home delivery offered to those who report illness or disability.

Overview

  • Welfare Secretary Ariadna Montiel set the delivery window to distribute nearly 2 million Banco del Bienestar cards to women who enrolled in August.
  • Beneficiaries will receive a message or call with the exact day, time and location to pick up their card, and a CURP-based lookup will be posted on the Bienestar website this week.
  • To collect the card, recipients must present an official photo ID in original and copy and hand in the purple registration receipt, with a photo taken at delivery.
  • Cards are delivered only to the rightsholder, who must sign a receipt, and those unable to attend due to health or disability can request delivery at their registered address.
  • Authorities reported completion of the September–October payment cycle for 16.4 million people with an outlay of 92,358 million pesos.
