Overview
- Quintana Roo authorities arrested Emilio Alejandro “N,” known as “El H” or “El Danone,” identified as the presumed CJNG plaza boss for northern Quintana Roo during an interagency operation in Cancún.
- Officers seized a Glock 9mm, 12 rounds, roughly 300,000 pesos, four phones, a Kia Soul, and packaged doses of marijuana, cocaine, and crystal, and the suspect was referred to the narcomenudeo prosecutor.
- Investigators link the detainee to the cell “Deltas: Operativa Jaguar,” described as driving efforts to expand CJNG control across municipalities including Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, Cozumel, Benito Juárez, Lázaro Cárdenas and Isla Mujeres.
- In a separate action in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, federal and state forces detained 12 people who said they belonged to the CJNG and secured four AK-47 rifles, a 9mm pistol, tactical vests, drugs, cash and a Mazda 3 without plates.
- Omar García Harfuch announced the Chiapas detentions, conducted by FRIP with support from FGR, SSPC, Sedena, GN and Semar, and officials said the 12 were placed under FGR jurisdiction as legal proceedings advance.
