  • With a 284 billion peso investment, the government has contractually secured 96 percent of medicines and medical supplies needed by the public system through 2026.
  • The Health Ministry published two online portals—monitoreocompra.salud.gob.mx and entregamedicamentos.salud.gob.mx—enabling real-time tracking of procurements and deliveries.
  • Rutas de la Salud will deploy a fleet of trucks, sanitary and refrigerated boxes under a 120 million peso annual budget to begin nationwide distribution in August.
  • BIRMEX’s strengthened capacity will link 23 states and integrate over 11,000 rural clinics into bi-monthly supply runs previously underserved by private logistics.
  • IMSS-Bienestar has added 13 hospitals and eight clinics since October and plans to inaugurate 19 more hospitals and six units by year-end.
