- Mexico’s Security Cabinet tallied 7,968 detentions, 6,194 firearms, 1,094,282 rounds, 29,085 magazines, 5,138 vehicles and 967 properties seized, along with 101,728.4 kilograms of drugs including 483.32 kilograms of fentanyl.
- In San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora, a coordinated search recovered 29 long guns, a .45 pistol, disassembled weapon parts, hundreds of rounds and magazines, and 19 kilograms of fentanyl pills plus 870 grams of methamphetamine and about 70 grams of brown paste.
- Nine vehicles were seized in the Sonora raid, five with theft reports—three from the United States and two from Baja California—with all evidence turned over to the Ministerio Público for processing and forensic analysis.
- On October 9 in Villagrán, Guanajuato, federal and state forces detained three suspects and seized nine long guns, 24 magazines, 686 cartridges, 19 ballistic vests, 26 plates and four vehicles including a quad bike.
- In Sinaloa, authorities reported arrests and the recovery of heavy weaponry including a launcher and a grenade, prison inspections at Aguaruto, the dismantling of irregular surveillance with 2,673 cameras removed and additional seizures after armed confrontations in Elota and operations in Concordia.
