• Security Secretary Omar García Harfuch said 215 people have been detained across 15 states since July 6, including 58 arrests in the past two weeks.
• Officials reported 32,622 calls to 089, with 69% identified as attempted extortions prevented through real-time guidance and about 3,000 consummated cases sent to local prosecutors.
• Operations were concentrated in Michoacán, Guerrero, State of Mexico, Tabasco and Oaxaca, which together account for 84% of detentions.
• Recent actions included the capture of Israel “N” (“El Toluco”) in Acapulco and the dismantling of eight associates, arrests in Morelia linked to extortion and kidnapping, and prison inspections in Sinaloa and Puebla that seized phones and radios.
