- Tickets go on sale November 22 for the Tonalá–Ixtepec segment, with through travel announced toward Salina Cruz, Coatzacoalcos and Palenque.
- Sheinbaum inaugurated stations in Tonalá and Arriaga (Chiapas) and Chahuites and Juchitán (Oaxaca) and rode the 175-kilometer route to Ixtepec, with passenger service set to run on weekends with a single train.
