Overview

  • President Sheinbaum’s administration increased the sexennial goal for new housing from 1.0 million to 1.8 million units, assigning 500,000 to Conavi, 1.2 million to Infonavit and 100,000 to Fovissste.
  • Fifty-eight official modules are registering applicants across 51 municipalities in 20 states through August 23, with Mexico City excluded from this phase.
  • The government launched an official microsite at viviendabienestar.gob.mx and set up dedicated complaint channels to warn against intermediaries and deter scams.
  • Conavi will evaluate submissions over the next 20 business days, then contact preselected candidates by phone, SMS or WhatsApp for domiciliary verification visits from August 26 to September 18.
  • If applicants cannot be reached to schedule verification visits their process may be canceled, and final beneficiaries will be determined at a November 14 assembly and sorteo.
