Overview

  • More than 14,600 SSC officers are patrolling all 16 alcaldías of Mexico City with over 1,000 vehicles, 35 motorcycles, 10 motoambulances, five tow trucks and one Condores helicopter.
  • Operativo Carretero mobilizes 41,180 National Guard personnel alongside over 4,000 CAPUFE workers, supported by 280 paramedics, 200 ambulances and rescue vehicles on federal highways.
  • The Conduce Sin Alcohol program engages 220 specialized officers, 250 additional elements and 52 official vehicles in city-wide sobriety checkpoints from July 18 through August 31.
  • Local alcaldías such as Coyoacán have activated their own summer security plans, deploying 45 units with support from the National Guard, Navy and Army to conduct patrols and public-information campaigns.
  • All operations run through August 31 with the goal of safeguarding physical integrity, preventing crimes, administrative infractions and traffic accidents during the vacation travel surge.
