Mexico Labor Ministry Nears Three-Quarters of 2025 Inspection Goal With 33,000+ Workplace Checks

• STPS reports completing more than 33,000 inspections in 2025, reaching 76.7% of its annual plan and directly benefiting 4.4 million workers.
• The annual target is 43,000 inspections in 2025, up from just over 32,000 in 2024.
• The plan designates 8,600 ordinary preventive reviews and 34,400 extraordinary inspections triggered by complaints, accidents or imminent risks.
