Overview

  • Federal and naval forces dismantled a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory in San Blas, Nayarit, seizing about 12.85 tonnes of meth, 54,500 liters of chemicals and key production equipment.
  • Inspectors at the Port of Manzanillo intercepted 114 liters of suspected meth precursors concealed in plastic containers during a coordinated operation with the navy.
  • Coordinated operations in Sinaloa recovered 20 stolen vehicles, detained 15 people and dismantled a clandestine camp in Navolato and San Ignacio, where authorities seized more than 6,600 cartridges, five firearms, 49 tactical uniforms and an improvised explosive device.
  • Police in Mexico City’s Cuajimalpa executed two judicial search warrants that led to the detention of five alleged street-level dealers and the seizure of over 800 doses of methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana.
  • Additional state and federal actions seized around 40 kilograms of suspected 'cristal' from a vehicle in Morelos and exposed a drug storage site with about 25 kilograms of marijuana and chemical containers after a fire in Ecatepec.
