  • Transit officers on duty at Corregidora and Correo Mayor in the Centro Histórico saw a woman with two minors unintentionally injure a puppy with a stroller.
  • Police requested a voluntary handover if the owner could not care for the animal, and she consented.
  • An officer immediately purchased a bowl, kibble, a leash, and a small outfit in the force’s colors to provide care.
  • The puppy, estimated at about two months old and now named Aquiles, is reported in good health under the Dirección de Operación Vial Zona 2 Centro.
