Overview
- The city presented progress on Aug. 4 and said civil and electromechanical work across Lines 4, 5 and 6 is about 20% complete with a goal of roughly 40% by the end of 2026.
- Together the three lines will run nearly 40 kilometers, include about 30 stations and 235 towers, and are expected to serve more than 200,000 passengers daily across five alcaldías and roughly 150 neighborhoods and pueblos originarios.
- Officials set delivery targets of 2027 for Lines 4 and 6 and mid‑2028 for Line 5, with current work focused on foundations, tower installation and fabrication of cabins, motors and ropes.
