Overview

  • Members of the Luciérnagas family justice group will gather at Estación Chabacano at 6:30 am to press for answers on missing relatives.
  • Mercaditas Autónomas Momoxcas will set up a market at Milpa Alta’s explanada at 9:00 am, followed by a Sindicato SUTIEMS protest at the IEMS headquarters in Benito Juárez at 11:30 am.
  • The Comité de Familiares y Amigos por la Libertad de los Presos Políticos will convene at the Nunciatura Apostólica in Álvaro Obregón at 10:00 am seeking diplomatic intervention.
  • Neighbors defending the Deportivo Xochimilco will meet at the Prepa 1 Metrobús station at 7:00 pm and the Frente Nacional por las 40 Horas will hold a simultaneous vigil at the Zócalo.
  • Officials recommended using Metro La Viga, Metro General Anaya or bus routes 25 and 57 and advised detours via Av. Universidad, Eje 7 Sur and Periférico to bypass planned blockades.
