Mexico City Police Detain Four, Seize About 600 Drug Doses in Raids on Two Alleged Sale Points

Prosecutors are reviewing evidence from court-ordered searches that followed citizen complaints.

  • Authorities reported securing 175 wraps of suspected cocaine and 428 doses of apparent marijuana, plus a phone and a sheet with phone numbers.
  • Four men ages 53, 59, 48 and 27 were detained across the two locations.
  • The operation stemmed from field and intelligence work by the Mexico City police and was conducted with the capital prosecutor’s office, the Navy, the Defense Ministry and the National Guard.
  • Both properties were sealed, and the detainees and seized items were placed at the disposal of the Ministerio Público as investigations continue.
