• The SSC and DiDi announced the rollout of the “Comprobante de pedido,” a feature intended to reinforce delivery workers’ safety during on-street checks.
• Within the app’s Safety Center, couriers generate a digital receipt that displays current order status in real time, their photo, and registered profile data.
• The tool can be requested by authorities at security checkpoints, military bases, university campuses, residential areas, and special events.
• Couriers may show an active order, recent deliveries, or regular platform activity when not on a live job to document they are working.
• DiDi says the feature is limited to couriers and authorities and does not change consumer prices or delivery times, and the SSC has not said whether Uber Eats or Rappi will adopt a similar tool.
