Overview

• The diffusion period for viable Participatory Budget 2025 projects runs July 11–31 in Mexico City, marking the transition to the August consultation phase.
• Proponents may promote their proposals in public spaces and digital platforms but content must be purely informational and respect intellectual property without minors’ images or defamatory language.
• Printed materials must be black-and-white media carta on 100% biodegradable paper with at least 50% recycled content and clearly display the project number and its territorial demarcation.
• Use of resources is capped at 24 UMAs with public funds or association-based financing prohibited, and failure to comply or withdraw materials by July 31 may trigger sanctions including project deregistration.
• Voter registration via the SEI app remains open until July 30 ahead of online voting from August 4 to 14 and in-person polling on August 17.
