Overview
- Metro CDMX confirmed that Lines 1, 2, 3 and 9 will start service at 5:00 AM on Sunday, July 13, two hours ahead of the regular schedule.
- Registered runners in the Medio Maratón CDMX can ride free on those lines by showing their official competitor number.
- Ten of the system’s twelve lines continue to see high passenger volumes while Lines 4 and 6 operate with moderate flows.
- Line 3 and Line B have experienced delays due to trains removed for inspection, causing slower service and passenger build-ups.
- Seventeen stations on Line 1 between Pantitlán and Chapultepec have reopened since April 23, and a full modernization closure of Line 3 is planned after mid-2025.
