Overview
- The march, convened by Comité 68, began at 4 p.m. from Plaza de las Tres Culturas and follows Ricardo Flores Magón, Eje Central and 5 de Mayo to the Zócalo.
- Large contingents of students and allied groups converged on Tlatelolco, including IPN groups departing from Casco de Santo Tomás and buses with Ayotzinapa students.
- The SSC and C5 issued operational advisories, set up roadblocks and urged use of alternate routes such as Insurgentes, Circuito Interior, José María Izazaga, Doctor Río de la Loza and Fray Servando Teresa de Mier.
- Metro and Metrobús signaled intermittent changes near the route, with possible temporary closures at Zócalo/Tenochtitlan, Allende, Bellas Artes, Hidalgo and Tlatelolco; riders were told to check official channels for updates.
- Organizers linked the commemoration to calls for justice in the Ayotzinapa case, attention to disappearances and solidarity with Gaza, and requested no deployment of riot police or restrictions on access to the main square.
