Mexico City Lists At Least 18 Marches and Road Blockages for Sept. 10

Officials urge drivers to rely on C5, SSC and Centro de Orientación Vial alerts due to overnight rains that threaten additional delays.

Overview

  • C5 and the SSC released a timetable that includes early blockages at 06:00 on Calzada San Antonio Abad and 07:00 on Avenida Juárez, with a 21:30 rodada on Calzada de la Viga.
  • At least 18 mobilizations are planned, concentrated in Centro Histórico, Juárez and Tabacalera and affecting key corridors such as Reforma, Insurgentes and Avenida Juárez.
  • One march led by the Unión Popular de Vendedores Ambulantes “28 de Octubre” is set for 11:00 from the Ángel de la Independencia toward the Interior Ministry and Palacio Nacional.
  • SSC-listed actions also include INBA workers at 07:00 at Palacio de Bellas Artes, SOFIPO CAME savers at 10:00 at the CNBV and Gaza solidarity gatherings from 13:00 near the Hemiciclo a Juárez.
  • Authorities will provide real-time advisories and detour options through C5, SSC and the Centro de Orientación Vial, noting rains in several alcaldías could further slow traffic.
