- Month over month, the capital added 116,054 formal positions, a 3.16% rise from September; the State of Mexico added 27,602.
- Permanent roles account for 85.66% of the city’s formal jobs versus 14.33% temporary, with a workforce split of 57% men and 43% women.
- The largest affiliated groups are business, personal and household services (1,538,144), commerce (834,894) and manufacturing industries (366,058).
- October’s strongest generators of new jobs were transport and communications (+48,023), services for businesses, people and households (+34,838) and construction (+15,334), while the city kept the highest average base wage for contributions at 756.69 pesos per day.
