Overview
- SGIRPC updated a Red alert for Tlalpan for 50–70 mm of rain during Tuesday night, after issuing an earlier Red alert for Cuajimalpa overnight.
- Authorities set Orange alerts for areas including Álvaro Obregón, Cuajimalpa, Magdalena Contreras and Milpa Alta with 30–49 mm forecast, and Yellow alerts for several others with 15–29 mm.
- Ecatepec and Nezahualcóyotl reported significant inundations, with up to 50 cm of water inside some homes and residents citing losses and slow municipal assistance.
- Conagua projected more rainfall for the State of Mexico, naming municipalities such as Valle de Bravo, Toluca, Naucalpan, Tlalnepantla, Ecatepec and Nezahualcóyotl.
- In Mexicali, the CESPM activated immediate-response protocols, logging more than 500 reports of ponding and blocked drains and reporting 351 attended by Tuesday morning.
