Overview

• SGIRPC activated the Red Alert for Cuajimalpa from 00:10 to 04:00 on Tuesday, August 26.
• An Orange Alert was issued for Álvaro Obregón, Azcapotzalco, Gustavo A. Madero, Magdalena Contreras, Milpa Alta, Tláhuac, Tlalpan and Xochimilco with 30 to 49 millimeters expected.
• A Yellow Alert was set for Benito Juárez, Coyoacán, Cuauhtémoc, Iztacalco, Iztapalapa, Miguel Hidalgo and Venustiano Carranza with 15 to 29 millimeters forecast.
• Possible hail was flagged for the Orange-level boroughs during the overnight period.
• Authorities urged people to carry rain gear, clear neighborhood drains, avoid flooded routes and keep distance from trees, walls, cables and unstable structures.
