Overview
- Iztapalapa was placed under the SGIRPC’s highest ‘púrpura’ alert, with warnings in effect roughly from 19:15 to 23:00, while Venustiano Carranza was set to ‘roja’.
- Forecasters projected rainfall over 70 mm in Iztapalapa and 50–70 mm in Venustiano Carranza, with possible hail and risks of flash flooding and landslides.
- Orange alerts covered Gustavo A. Madero, Iztacalco, Milpa Alta, Tláhuac and Xochimilco, and yellow alerts remained for Álvaro Obregón, Azcapotzalco, Benito Juárez, Coyoacán, Cuauhtémoc, Cuajimalpa, Magdalena Contreras, Miguel Hidalgo and Tlalpan.
