Overview
- A private 4,000 million-peso fideicomiso has been fully established with BBVA México as fiduciary and will not count as public debt under SHCP criteria
- The initial 2.5 billion-peso disbursement executed on July 3 has been allocated to planned mobility upgrades and urban revitalization projects
- Key procurements include 17 light rail cars for the Tasqueña–Xochimilco line, 17 trolleybuses on the Universidad–Estadio Azteca circuit and 11 electric buses for the Centrobús route
- Urban works cover remodeling of CETRAM hubs, modernization of underpasses in Tlalpan, creation of the Calzada Verde Flotante, expanded bike facilities and upgrades around Estadio Azteca
- BBVA’s record-speed structuring enabled rapid fund deployment and a second tranche of 1.5 billion pesos will follow in January 2026 under the trust’s five-year term
