Overview
- Mayor Clara Brugada said more than 2 billion pesos will be directed next year to deep-drainage works in Iztapalapa to reduce flooding.
- The city counted 2,026 public works actions in 2025 across mobility, security, public space, education, sports, water and drainage.
- Hydric projects include rehabilitating 310 wells, six potabilization plants, 34 kilometers of new distribution lines, 10 kilometers of collectors, 100 absorption wells and wastewater treatment systems.

- Additional works in progress include the Clínica Condesa in Gustavo A. Madero, 300 Safe Paths with a 34‑kilometer corridor on Calzada de Tlalpan, new SSC facilities and a Police Hospital, the University of the Arts, modernization of the Tren Ligero and lighting upgrades in the Historic Center at 50%.
