Overview
- The restriction applies across Mexico City and 18 State of Mexico municipalities in the Valley of Mexico metropolitan area from 05:00 to 22:00.
- Hologram 1 vehicles with even-numbered license plates (0, 2, 4, 6, 8) are not permitted to circulate.
- All vehicles with Hologram 2 are prohibited from circulating during the enforcement window.
- Vehicles with plates issued outside CDMX, the State of Mexico, Hidalgo, Morelos, Puebla, Querétaro, and Tlaxcala are also subject to the restriction.
- Violations are fined 20–30 UMAs (about 2,075–3,113 pesos), and drivers can confirm eligibility at hoynocircula.cdmx.gob.mx.
